Harness your skills and your business for positive impact
Business for good
Most people come to me because they are disillusioned by business as usual.
They are tired of practices that lead to exhaustion of people and degradation of the planet.
They know that change is needed, and they are looking for a strategic path that balances purpose, profit and positive impact.
And so we embark on a journey of equal self discovery and strategic action.
Weaving the personal and the practical; we find ways to make money and run a business that contributes to social and environmental good.
In short: we design business principles and systems so they are aligned with personal goals AND in service to harmonious and healthy futures.
Whether it be through mentorship, business strategy, program development or learning the art of regenerative leadership —
together we harness the potential of business to shape our world for future generations.

About Lucy Richards (she/they)
Hello, welcome. Thanks for your interest in who I am, what I do and why I do it.
I live on Dja Dja Wurrung Country in Central Victoria on a beautiful off-grid property surrounded by the bush. I am a life-long learner, social entrepreneur, sometimes-CEO and published poet.
I have 15 years experience harnessing business as a force for good. Traversing the intersections of social impact, technology, education and wellbeing – I have been the CEO of non-profits, facilitated Harvard Business School leadership courses, run wellbeing programs across Australia, and advocated for health at the United Nations. Currently I am on the Board of Directors and CERES.
These experiences have led me to a deep understanding of the complexity, creativity and varying needs of humanity, our environment, (eco)systems and economy.
The business for good ethos:
While I am a critic of capitalism and the inequity embedded in its system, I believe that the innovation, resources, networks and scale of businesses – and their leaders – can come together and redesign our future world so that it is fair, just and regenerative for our society and the environment.
My approach is to guide my clients into heartfelt, intelligent and safe spaces that simultaneously meet individual needs, consider societal and environmental impact, and work towards business objectives and long term financial sustainability.
You can learn more about my qualifications, biases and what informs my approach here.
